Steven Cost
President, SIG
Steven Cost directs the overall global strategy for Hexagon’s Safety & Infrastructure and Geospatial divisions. A certified public accountant, he holds a master's degree in business administration from Vanderbilt University and a bachelor's degree from the University of Alabama. Prior to joining Hexagon, Cost served as vice president and corporate controller for Adtran Inc. and has also held senior financial management roles at AVEX Electronics and Benchmark Electronics.

Blair Jacks
CFO, SIG
Blair Jacks serves as the chief financial officer for Hexagon’s Safety & Infrastructure and Geospatial divisions. Jacks has extensive experience in finance, administration, and accounting in diverse industries, including telecommunications and electronics manufacturing services. Prior to joining Hexagon, Jacks held an executive position at Adtran Inc. In the past, he has held senior positions at Flextronics International, Chatham Technologies, and AVEX Electronics. Jacks is a certified public accountant and certified management accountant and holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of South Alabama and an MBA from the University of Alabama.

Jason Sims
CMO, SIG
Jason Sims is the chief marketing officer for Hexagon’s Safety & Infrastructure and Geospatial divisions. Focusing on digital transformation and data-driven insights, he spearheads creative initiatives to positively impact the business. Sims began his tenure with Hexagon in 2007, with leadership experience across three divisions. Prior to his current role, he led other marketing teams within Hexagon, as well as inside sales, partner management, and Hexagon’s Google reseller business. Sims holds a BS in geography with a GIS concentration and a BS in technical communication from James Madison University.

Richard Morris
VP Legal, SIG
Richard Morris leads the global and legal contract teams for Hexagon’s Safety & Infrastructure and Geospatial divisions. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama School of Law and has more than 20 years of progressive legal experience. Prior to joining Hexagon in 2013, Morris was a shareholder with the law firm of Sirote & Permutt, P.C. He is also experienced in corporate leadership though multiple engagements on governing boards of directors.

Jay Cobb
VP HR, SIG
Jay Cobb is the vice president of global human resources for Hexagon’s Safety & Infrastructure and Geospatial divisions. With 20 years of progressive human resources experience in the technology, manufacturing, software, engineering, government services, and e-commerce industries, Cobb has a proven track record of implementing strategic human resources initiatives in a global business environment. He holds a bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, and serves on the board of directors for both the American Cancer Society and United Way of Huntsville.

Kalyn Sims
CTO, Safety & Infrastructure
Kalyn Sims is the chief technology officer of Hexagon’s Safety & Infrastructure division. Her focus is on the growth and development of new product offerings and innovative technology. Sims joined the organization in 2011 through an acquisition of her company, Denali Solutions, which she founded in 2000. Prior to founding Denali Solutions, Sims worked as a management consultant and software engineer for several corporations, including Booz, Allen & Hamilton, and Thermo Electron. She holds a bachelor's degree in computer science and a master's in business administration.

Dan Retzer
SVP Product Development, Safety & Infrastructure
Dan Retzer serves as Hexagon’s Safety & Infrastructure division senior vice president of global product development. Prior to joining Hexagon, Retzer was the CTO for Global Securities Finance and Processing for SunGard Financial Systems. He has held senior technology leadership positions delivering solutions into complex industries. He holds a master's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Alabama in Birmingham.

Mladen Stojic
President, Geospatial
Mladen Stojic is the president of Hexagon’s Geospatial division. A recognized leader and innovator within the geospatial community, Stojic is focused on delivering a positive customer experience, from product development through sales, services, and support. He has over 20 years of combined experience across Hexagon companies and has held senior leadership positions. He holds a bachelor’s degree in survey engineering from Ryerson University and a master’s degree in Geography from Western University.

Georg Hammerer
CTO, Geospatial
Georg Hammerer serves as chief technology officer for Hexagon’s Geospatial division, leading research and development initiatives, global customer support, and services in Europe. He joined Hexagon in 2007, following the acquisition of technology from a geographic information systems company he founded. He has broad experience across Hexagon’s Geospatial division, including serving as product development lead, managing director for Austria, product line director, and leading global sales and operations. He studied surveying at the Technical University of Vienna. |
Dirk Wagemans
VP Google Commercial, Geospatial
Dirk Wagemans is the vice president for Google sales and services for Hexagon’s Geospatial division. He joined Hexagon in 2012, helping to drive sales growth in Europe, India, and Japan and served as vice president for the Asia-Pacific region. Prior to joining Hexagon, he worked in the health, services, and energy sectors. He began his career in diplomacy. Wagemans holds degrees in history, international politics, geography, and management. |
Ferzad Bharucha
SVP Asia Pacific, Safety & Infrastructure and Geospatial
Ferzad Bharucha is the senior vice president of APAC for Hexagon’s Safety & Infrastructure and Geospatial divisions. Bharucha joined the Hexagon team with more than two decades experience in management, sales, services, and technology across Asia and Oceania. Prior to Hexagon, Bharucha held leadership positions at organizations such as Brightstar, SingTel Optus, and Vodafone. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Australia’s University of Wollongong, and a master’s in business administration from the University of Technology in Sydney, Australia. He also completed the High Potentials Leadership Program at Harvard Business School.

Sergio Nunes
SVP LATAM, Safety & Infrastructure and Geospatial
Sergio Nunes is the senior vice president of Latin America for Hexagon’s Safety & Infrastructure and Geospatial divisions. With 20 years of experience at Hexagon, Nunes has held numerous positions within the company, including division director in Brazil. He has also held executive positions at Motorola and Kenwood. Nunes has a bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering from the São Paulo College of Engineering and an MBA in marketing from Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado.

Bill Campbell
SVP Americas, Safety & Infrastructure and Geospatial
Bill Campbell is the senior vice president of the Americas for Hexagon Safety & Infrastructure. Campbell joined the Hexagon team with more than 20 years of management, sales, and marketing experience. Prior to Hexagon, Campbell worked at Capgemini, a leading global systems integrator, where he served as the global sales officer and vice president of its Technology Services business. He has also held executive positions at General Electric Information Services. Campbell holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC), a Master of Business Administration from The Johns Hopkins University, and a Master of Public Service and Administration and graduate certificate in homeland security from The Bush School of Government and Public Service, Texas A&M University.

Maximilian Weber
SVP EMEA, Safety & Infrastructure and Geospatial
Maximilian Weber is the senior vice president of EMEA for Hexagon Safety & Infrastructure. Weber has more than 25 years of experience with Hexagon, serving in various executive roles throughout the years, such as general manager, business unit manager, and sales manager. Prior to joining Hexagon, Weber worked at Bentley Systems, Mannesmann Mobilfunk, and Bavarian Hydro-electric Plants in Munich. He has a degree in surveying from Munich University of Applied Sciences.

Christoph De Preter
CSO EMEA & NORTHAM, Geospatial
Christoph De Preter is the chief sales officer for Hexagon’s Geospatial division, leading sales, presales, and services teams. Previously he worked as an attorney with international firms Baker & McKenzie and Crowell & Moring. De Preter started his career as a Ph.D. fellow and assistant professor at the University of Leuven’s Interdisciplinary Center for Law and Information Technology. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Leuven, a J.D. from the University of Berlin, and an LL.M. from the University of Brussels. He serves on the board of BME, a fast-growing European smart logistics company. |
