Pure Force and Rescue Corp. is a private initiative created to connect emergency response agencies across the Philippines. Home to nearly 100 million people, the Philippines lacks a centralized emergency response system or a nationwide emergency telephone number, making the coordination between law enforcement, fire, and emergency response agencies difficult.
To better serve the public safety needs of Philippine citizens, Pure Force needed an incident management solution to quickly dispatch first responders, connect agencies across the country, and manage emergencies in real time. Pure Force also wanted the solution to have mobile capabilities that would support the needs of first responders in the field and citizens with smartphones.
Pure Force selected Hexagon Safety & Infrastructure to implement its industry-leading Intergraph Computer-Aided Dispatch (I/CAD) system and Mobile Responder application to help law enforcement, fire, and emergency medical services minimize response times, as well as track and manage incidents and emergencies in real time.
Through its use of I/CAD, the Pure Force command center has a common operating picture that facilitates information sharing between agencies in different municipalities around the country. Mobile Responder extends incident management capabilities to first responders, giving them access to real-time data and true situational awareness. Philippine citizens can also call for help and connect to emergency services through a smartphone app.
By leveraging Hexagon’s software solutions, Pure Force has enabled citizens to call for help using one emergency phone number or a mobile app, regardless of the city they are located in. Pure Force’s innovative use of dispatching and mobile technologies will help make the Philippines a model for other countries around the world.
