CAD and GIS solutions are crucial to public safety and incident management. Together, call-taking and dispatch software, maps and spatial data give agencies the information they need to protect and provide services for the public. When these solutions are integrated, they enable agencies to do their jobs quicker and more efficiently.
In March, Intergraph and Esri announced collaborative efforts to enhance geospatial capabilities for public safety and security agencies. Through the collaboration, the companies are working to more tightly align Intergraph’s Computer-Aided Dispatch system, I/CAD, and Esri’s ArcGIS Platform.
Recently, Kalyn Sims, vice president of public safety products for Intergraph SG&I, and Brian Lantz, director of public safety sales at Esri, sat down with HxGN Radio to talk about how the new collaboration will benefit both companies’ public safety and security customers.
