What to Expect at HxGN LOCAL – Toronto: Utilities, Communications, and Pipeline

Hexagon Safety & Infrastructure’s HxGN LOCAL – Toronto is right around the corner and will be hosted at the International Centre on February 6. Our utilities, communications, and pipeline conference track will focus on Intergraph G/Technology.

Intergraph G/Technology’s development has been guided by 40 years of experience gained by deploying GIS solutions for communications and utility companies. Throughout the track, we will expand on Intergraph G/Technology’s roadmap, specifically looking at functionality and developments that are being designed for future releases. We will also highlight some of Intergraph G/Technology’s newest enhancements, giving your organization practical capabilities and useful tips to maximize its investment.

Since its release in 2016, our product development team has been continually expanding and enhancing Intergraph NetWorks’ capabilities to better serve the needs of utilities and communications providers. During this session, our experts will discuss and demo some of Intergraph NetWorks latest developments. Our experts will also highlight innovative use cases already deployed in North America. This session encourages ideas and feedback to make Intergraph NetWorks even better. Active participation is welcome. You won’t want to miss this exciting session!

Emerging Threats to Critical Infrastructure
The mission of first responders has become even more difficult. Improved safety and security technologies have made some tasks easier, but they’ve also increased the public’s expectations. In this session, we will examine the critical infrastructure framework necessary to secure today’s cities.

This session will look at the effects of disaster and emergency management on utilities, communications, and pipeline organizations. Taking a smart, planned approach to major incidents and events is essential to successful outcomes. There will be separate Tips & Tricks sessions for Intergraph G/Technology and Intergraph InService. These sessions will be interactive and hosted by some of Hexagon’s utilities and communications solution experts. Bring your notebook and have your questions ready!
